My Learning strategies 

First, I skimmed the related material about using photographs: Writing from the e-book that Mrs. Sloria shared earlier. Second, when the presentation class took place, I listened to the explanation that the presenter presented, after that I re-read the paper materials from the 3rd group at google classroom to improve my understanding. Then, I found some foreign vocabulary. Eventually, I began to figure out the meaning of the vocabulary and write it down, so that I could remember it better.

Based on the material I read from 3^rd paper material at from google classroom related Using photographs: Writing caption, I learned that caption can be an important part of a news story that contains basic information to readers and as a brief description of a related image. According to the Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary, caption is brief text over or under a picture in a book, magazine, or newspaper that describes the picture or explains what the people in it are doing or saying. In addition, I also learned that the caption was not written haphazardly. There are many things and rules that need to be considered how to write captions well and of course we also need to pay attention to the grammatical arrangement. In addition, the caption must be written as attractive as possible so that it attracts readers and remains informative, so that what is in the picture can be conveyed properly.

Having reading materials related to the topic of Using photographs: Writing caption, I now realize that the use of photographs and the addition of captions in written news can have a significant impact on the interest of readers, because apart from helping to provide a basic description of the news, the use of photographs and captions plays a decisive role in whether the readers will continue reading or not. Therefore, the most important thing in writing this caption we need to write it as attractively and informatively as possible, choosing an appropriate image and obeying the rules and don't forget to pay attention to our understanding of grammar rules and word selection. I have significantly developed my knowledge and my vocabulary, which this skill is certainly very important for me in the future if I am going to write captions. In the future I will write as creative captions as possible but provide benefits and of course I will also include photographs. As a next step, I have to keep practicing to develop my skills.
