My Learning strategies
First, I skimmed the related material about writing for broadcast: analyzing news from the PDF material that Mrs. Sloria shared at google classroom. Second, when the presentation class took place, I listened to the explanation that the presenter presented, after that I re-read the paper materials from the 5th group at google classroom to improve my understanding. Then, I found some foreign vocabulary. Eventually, I began to figure out the meaning of the vocabulary and write it down, so that I could remember it better. And as usual, after reviewing the material that I have learned, I will do the assignments given by Ms. Sloria which include writing my language learning log, how my learning strategy is, making a synopsis and writing a reflection which makes my learning more meaningful.

Based on the material I read from the 6th paper and the PDF material that Mrs. Sloria shared from Google Classroom regarding writing for broadcasts: analyzing news, broadcast is an activity to broadcast or announce something to everyone at the same time. Broadcasting results can be in the form of radio or television broadcasts, namely programs that are transmitted via air waves to the eyes or ears of the recipient using a device that has been tuned to the appropriate signal channel, which means that broadcast has the advantage of providing information that can be accessed by viewers anywhere and anytime without being hindered distance. In addition, in making a broadcast as usual, there are many rules that we need to pay attention to such as the lead, maximize time, hit the highlight, quotes, writing style, contractions, use of tense, abbreviations, music features, and many more which are certainly not arbitrary. Input or create. In writing broadcasts, we also use active voice and avoid using passive voice. Before broadcasting, we need to make a proper plan for broadcast, so the writer has to script the entire broadcast. The stories are only one part of the script. Broadcasts have to be planned to fit the timed airing, and each segment has to be timed appropriately. More than that, we also need to pay attention to the camera settings, such as the camera angle, camera distance, which of course is useful for maximizing broadcast quality.

Having reading material related to the topic of writing for broadcasts: analyzing news, now I realize that studying broadcasts is important because it stimulates and hones creativity and improves critical thinking patterns which of course provides benefits when creating content or creating and broadcasting a broadcast that quality and education. Therefore, learning how to style broadcast writing, understanding what viewers need to hear and see, paying attention to music features, planning the broadcast, even camera settings for visual reasons becomes very useful and important. I have significantly developed writing skills, critical thinking and mastery of materials, which will be very important for me in the future to apply in writing for broadcasts and analyzing news and of course when I do a broadcast. In the future I will continue to be up to date on trending things that can be beneficial for broadcasting, create and write for broadcasts through observation activities about the latest phenomena that will be presented to viewers and more effective for listeners. As a next step, I have to continue to practice to develop my skills, especially in English speaking and writing skills so that I can write and broadcast broadcasts more confidently and according to the rules and be able to adjust the music features, able to suppress the news highlights so that the broadcasts that I bring have quality content, will be the news to look forward to because it has successfully captured the hearts of viewers.
